Getting the code to unlock the door -- 98 Explorer

I recently bought a used Explorer -- 1998 XLT. It has the buttons on the door to unlock it, but I was not given the combination. Is there a way for me to figure out the code?

Getting the code to unlock the door -- 98 Explorer

Get yourself a flash light and open up the panel for your jack in the back on the left side of your X. look inside to the front and the code should be on the contol box just ahead of the jack.
