Center console phone jack?

Center console phone jack?
i have a 98 EB Explorer. Inside the center console (to the right of the disc changer) is a phone jack. I assume this is for an integrated cell phone? my questions are: what exactly is all installed, and what do i have to buy to get this working? is there a special phone/kit i have to buy to get this to work, and where can i get parts/phones that work with this? this would be part of the cell phone button on my stereo too? i would appreciate any help i can get!
