stick with the fipk kit (kn) and exhaust with headers first. also, stick with regular plugs , 302 and 351 like the cheap crap. I have a 95 302. I have done the above then I persued the rest.I did an msd dist., 80 mm maf, 24lb. inj., cam fms e 303, edelbrock intake, headers, pulleys ,cat converter, msd 6a spark box and coil, 1.6 roller rockers, and twin electric fans. tThe reason why I tell you this is 1 thing leads to another , now it is going to cost 500$ for a dyno session and custom chip. The truck pulls like hell but it gets expensive . decide what your after and make a plan. I simply don't like those whiny little imports.

I did a tune up, just a few months back. Found out the Ford dealer put Platiums in during the 60K tune up a few years back. I was going to go with Autolites, but Bosch Plats with the rebate were cheaper, My 96 EB, runs just fine, looking forward to the winter this year

bosch plats cheaper then a 97 cent copper autolite? thats a first. the dealer put those plugs in so they could charge you more which is a tipical situation at a dealer. i would bet if you installed copper plugs in you would notice a difference.

Yup, autolies were $1.49, plat's were $1.99 with a $4.00 rebate on 8, actually they were more because it cost $.37 for the stamp. Anyways, I swapped the OEM plat's in my 01 GT to plain auotlites, because I was getting misfire codes, and now run a colder NGK with the Vortech SC. I think some one told me the imports need the plat's, but I have no idea what the difference would feel like in my 96 EB.

Best Engine Mods

I have 1990 5.8 which I rebuilt dead stock but added a complete Bassani system and a Kenne Bell Supercharger. All fairly simple bolt-on mods. Low end torque is great. I can break loose 35" tires with a 3.55 rear end!

pullys really arent that great on a 4x4 especially if you plan to run lights, winch and other accessories. it is a great mustang mod though.
