a/c pump cycles constantly (01 F250 v-10)
I have noticed condensation dripping after I shut down the engine even if the a/c hasnt been turned on. The a/c pump is cycling on and off whenever the engine is running. This cant be normal ??

The A/C compressor is actually ON in most positions of your climate control, mostly for dehumidifying purposes. I think "off" and "fresh air vent" are the only two that it's not on for (but you can verify this by having someone select each position while you watch the compressor clutch under the hood.)

Off, the vent (arrow pointing at little cartoon man's face), and floor (arrow pointing at little cartoon man's feet) are the only positions that the compressor won't run. However, the A/C system has a temp sensor that won't engage the A/C clutch when the temp is below about 50F...
