360 torque converter

i have a torque converter from my 360, it is 1.848 inches.. the part that goes in the crank shaft..... i turned my engine into a 390 it is 1.4... something inches.... can i get my torque converter turned, or do i have to get a new one?

they are universal for these engines i don't know why they are different

during different years some had one of the 2 sizes dont know what years though
