torque converter question
hello everyone. I am presently trying to get a torque converter open just to see what it looks like on the inside and to say I have done it. However, it is my understanding that torque converters are not even supposed to be disassembled. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips about getting it open other than smashing it open with a sledge hammer. I don't have a torch or anything to cut it open with. Anyway, just being curious, so it isn't super serious or important that I get it open, just thought I would ask though.

Only way I could think of would be a saw or torch. Ask a neighbor if you can borrow a saw or somethin? I cant remember how the two halfs are held together but if its not welded then you might be able to drill a small hole, then widen it enough to get a flat head screwdriver in there and just pry on it?
