Spark Plug Experience

Has anyone had a good experience with Bosch plugs in this model truck?

From what I've heard the stock replacements are the best on these engines.

bosch is the worst plug you can put in a mod motor.

Stick with stock motorcraft platniums or coppers.

After going through 2 sets of Bosch plugs and chasing misses after only a few thousand miles I went back to Motorcraft plugs. No more missing.

i have a 99 f250 sd with the 5.4. when i purchased the truck, it had 76000 miles on it, and it started missing just after i bought it (go figure). well, i ended up changing the # 4 cop and all the plugs with bosch platinum. i have always liked the bosch plugs, but after that the idle just didnt seem quite right, and i read a lot about the mod engines.... so i went out and just bought a set of motorcraft platinum and i am going to change them out today.... i hope i have the same results that you had.

After having to replace the 5.0 in my dad's 89 F150 because the platinum center fell out of a Bosch Platinum plug and wedged in-between the piston and cylinder wall leaving a deep scar down the cylinder wall causing heavy blow-by, I'll never use them again.
As stated above, Either Motorcraft or Autolite double platinums are the only way to go!!
