Headed to the track
I will be running my Edge module, water injection with a 20/80 mixture, my newly up-and-running C02 intercooler sprayer (homemade, but it works
), a switch on the wire running to my tranmission line pressure regulator (at loss of power, transmission maxes out available pressure) and a switch on my converter lockup. With the switch on the line pressure regulator, the shifts are so hard and fast with it deactivated that the Edge module does'nt even have time for it to defuel; it will bark all 4 of my brand spanking new Bridgestone Dueler AT Revo's (got them yesterday) when shifting in 4x4. I can lockup the converter directly following launch for some extra torque to the wheels ( I have'nt tested this significantly, but it feels like it pulls harder so far)
I will have all 4 stages of the water working, as I fine tuned the system tonight. I have only given the truck one shot of the C02 earlier and it *seems* to have an effect but I really have no idea at this point. The entire system is very primative, and will take alot of work to get functioning well. I will still, however, use it tomorrow.
I have literally stripped everything possible off the truck. Spare tire, skid plates, brush guard, running boards, trailer hitch and reciever (I have NEVER seen bolts harder to get out than those), passenger seats, rear seats, front and back bumpers, and tool box. I also have the exhaust stripped off at the downpipe for more weight savings and more freely flowing exhaust.
I do not have a clue how I will run, but I do know this - with the weight gone, the module on level 5, and the water on, this truck has never been faster. It could blow up before I get off the line, but if I can make everything function perfectly, I will be able to make my fastest run ever in this vehicle.
Guys, please wish me luck
I'm gonna need it to keep this transmission in one peice.

It has been discussed too much, and was just stuck in my head...when I ran across the opprotunity to use it, I just couldn't pass it up...I hope I don't replay motor #1
I'll inform everyone on what it is depending on how my time is

...wish I could be there to watch all the the jaws drop to the asphault as they witness your launch.
Be safe.

Enjoy FTE
The parts are not available yet; if you will notice that has been the biggest issue I have been having in trying to milk mine for more power. The twin kits are actually available, but the interals and studs are not...the engine simply will not endure it without the parts. I am still waiting on rods, pistons, and most importantly head studs.
I will post my time slips from tonight, which are just ungodly, but then again I have no 3rd and 4th gear right now, since I apparently ripped something out on my third pass. I will post the slips in a day or two along with a report on my transmission, as it will be in the shop for the next few days starting tomorrow.
