so how do you set the motor and trans? offset ? or does it mater?

My motor and transmission are pointing straight back. The rearend is pointing straight forward so they are parrallel. The only angles I have to worry about are the motor angle up and down and the rear end angle up and down.

but if you center the rear in the frame, the drive shaft is off to the pass side? thats what i mean. i know about the motor and trans. rear all being parallel.

El Cabron,i have read the post and it does not say how far off the offset could be? You say you did this task last week, what motor and trans and rear did you use? about what is your offsets? Thanks RT
