hi, everyone I been looking for the fuel filter on the frame but the only thing I can find is a big black can covered by a metal. I also found the inline gas pump. No fuel filter.
Like justshootme84 said, it's under the driver seat on the frame. If you found the fuel pump, it is about 1 foot closer to the engine, usually behind a brassy looking piece of protective metal shield.
also, I hope that the lines are easier to remove on yours than they are on my '93. the spring mechanisms can be difficult to dislodge, even with the specialized tool.
I found the black big fuel filter looking can but it is around the transfer case. Under the seat area there is no filter just the pump. From the black big filter the fuel lines go to the fuel pump. After the fuel pump the lines go under the intake.
I guess someone else had to replace the fuel lines before I had the bronco. Because there is no signs of the line missing a fuel filter. Is there any way I could add a fuel filter? Maybe cutting a peice off before the fuel pump and replacing the peice with the filter.
