RF Modulater... CD Changer

RF Modulater... CD Changer
Does any body have experience with an aftermarket rf modulated cd changer, using it with a factory tape deck? How's the sound quality, does it plug in or splice into your antenna wire? Do cd changers skip much? I have a 97 f-150 with a factory tape deck, and would like to keep the factory indash unit, and play cds.... help, need any advice thanks.

I have a Sony changer; it rarely skipped, and it sounded OK when I used it with the RF mod. (The mod plugged inline with the FM antenna cable). Worst problem was that the CD cassettes were a little sketchy, so I lost a couple of CDs that fell out of the cassette inside the changer and got scratched to #@#$. A tip: if the cassette doesn't hold the CD securely, don't use it, or at least don't use that slot.
Now I mostly use a CD MP3 discman, which cost about 1/8 what the CD changer did and holds as many songs.
