3 days ago i got sony CDX-FW570 headunit and BOLT 750watt sub with amo

in the kit i got RED LONG WIRE ( i think thats to +12v) short black wite ( i think its ground) then very long speaker wire with 2 cables next to each other ( i think that to connect the sub with the amp) then i got this long but thin blue cable ( i dont know for what this is for) i got this "T" looking devide with a fuse in it then this long wire with RCA plugs at the end ( thats go from the head unit to amp __I THINK)
and a bag of connecter (HEADS for the wire)
what is the blue wire for?? accesory?? to the key ?????????
this is what i know to do - cut 18in of the red wire connect it to the battery then connect the fuse to it and straight to tha amp - then i take the black wire and connect to any metel thing in the car and connect it to the amp-then take the speaker wire and connect on to the RIGHT side of + and to the LEFT side - and connect it to the sub box - i did that today and it didnt work - is it broken or burned ?? b/c when i first connected the red wire to the battery it made spark then it didnt - PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Connect the Remote( Blue thin Wire) to the back of your headunit. It connects to a wire labeled 'Remote'. From your headunit also, Plug those RCA's and run them to your amp and plug them there too.

See if the fuse blew that you have on the red (power) wire. Make the ground (black) wire as short as posible and be sure to scrape of any paint where you mount it to the car. The blue (remote) wire is what gives your car the power signal. Basicaly an on and off switch. Your radio should have an amp lead or remote lead. Don't hook it up to power antenna wire tho. Your RCA's go from the radio to the amp but run them on the opposite side you ran the power. Example if you ran the power wire from the battery to the amp on the Left side of the car run the RCA to the amp from the right side of the car.
