Electronic shift control module

My 86 Electronic shift control module is bad, anyone have an idea where I can find one, it's in an axcess panel located on the right side of the dash near the right hand speaker. My control is on the overhead console.

You should be able to find it at an auto parts store that specializes in Ford parts. I know we have one here that carries them. Call around from the yellow pages. Worst case scenario, you'll have to call a Ford dealership, but try to work around that idea or you'll be spending big bucks.

You are correct about a dealership, over $425.00, found a used one from an Ebayer for $400.00 including shipping.
