Before u go spending $100 on anything, try this first.

I recomend buying a fuel pump relay. They r about $15 tops. After u replace the realy, ck the fuel pressure and see what it is.

i was talking about the eec-vi computer, the tfi module cost less than 30$ and took five min or less to replace.

My truck was cutting out and acting like it was running out of gas and if I turned it off it would not start for like 15 minutes. I had the guy's at the shop check it out and it was bad relays shorting out. They are located next to the air filter box.
