Indy Pace truck

I was looking at trucks for sale on ebay, and I found what appears to be a 1979 Ford F-150 Indy 500 Pace Truck. If this is the real thing, how rare is it?

The link didn't work for me. I've never been able to find the numbers on how many were made. The truck should look like the one in my gallery, which is an un-modified example.
