Hello, Great Site. Now can anyone help me, I need the compression specs for my 1986 F250, gotta a 460, Holley double pumper. I did the compression check and I am at around 130psi on 7 valves and about 122psi on the number 2 valve.
The reason I checked it is cause I am burning oil. White, maybe blue smoke when I am at idle and really boggs down when shes warm and I catch a red light (which I catch them all). So there isnt no drastic change in my compression, but I have had nothing but problems with the carb. Once I win the lotto I am going edelbrock. But any ideas what to check for the smoke? and the compression specs? Thanks guys.
