Depending on your driving style and what kind of off roading you do the ground hawgs should give you at least 35k. I haven't had any experience with the other two.

I have found tire mileage varies from driver to driver. Are you faithful on checking tire pressure, tire rotations and alignment. How much you like the sound of smoking tires at take off etc.

Just checked my tire wear today, i've lost about 5/32 of tread on my 35" BFG mud terrians, I have put around 15K miles on them so far, about a year sence I bought them. At this rate I figure I should get about 50-60k miles out of them. I'll be quite happy if this is the case. I drive about 70% highway and the rest offroad. Just for other info, I'am running 315/75r/16 on stock rims and had no problem what so ever.

Bigfinn.

Thumbs up

Bldr018,

I ran Dick Cepek's highway tire on a '94 F150 4X4 I used to have. Not sure if this is the same or similar tire to the "kevlar" series you mentioned above, but my set of DC's handled, rode, and wore pretty well. I had ~ 25K on them when I sold the truck and there was still plenty of meat left on the tread. I figure they'd go 45-50K. And yes, ALL highway miles like you drive, but I rotated them religiously every 5K miles and had the air pressure checked at each rotation and any time I looked at them and they didn't seem exactly right. I carry a good air pressure gauge in the truck. I'm the kind of person who like tires/rims, so I tend to look at the tires virtually EVERY time I get in the truck.

Hope this helps!

DS
