catch code? what is it?

catch code? what is it?
I've been lookin around at different chips for sell and they all say REQUIRES CATCH CODE!!! What is a catch code? A certain code for the computer or something?

Yes. It's the box code of your PCM (the computer). Look for a small white tag on the drivers side door post, A-pillar side, with a four digit code on it (XPC4, DAC3, etc.) if the tag is no longer there you will need to remove the PCM from the vehicle and find the code tag on the box.
