Change Throttle Body???

Hey guy's, Yea, I'm the new guy! Quick Question. Would I gain any performance putting a 75mm BBK Throttle Body on my 02 5.4 S/D S/C ? Done everything else but headers. Not looking for MPG. Nothing helps that. Still pretty funny reading all the threads about aftermarket parts and better mileage. They just don't seem to go hand in hand. Anyway, what do you think? You guy's seem fairly intelligent...LOL

I don't think any of that stuff does much good..only if you drive around at 3/4 to full throttle. Try a tuner maybe they work..

I have a superchips tuner,etc. and it gave me better response and HP. I was just wondering if anyone has ever changed their throttle body and if they noticed any difference. I must admit that most mods are done for ego's than performance! Oh well, just seperates us from the rest of the herd I guess

I've never heard anyone brag about one and say that you guy's need to get one..
I have heard that some make noise which is undesireable.

The actual gains aren't worth the cost . But it's the old saying if you let more in you gotta let more out(headers )
Maybe you want a supercharger in there ???? that outta help!!!!

Why? What For? leave it alone and drive it ,enjoy it ,why waste your hard earned money on stuff like that!

I guess I'm gettin real old!!!!!

Just my rant !

Well, I guess I'll know Sat. when I install it. I'll post back whether it's loud or any other pro's or con's. I've had it kickin around for quite a while. My friend totalled his truck before he had a chance to install it. Thanks for the input.
