New Version of Mozilla Firefox
Hi,
There is a new version of Mozilla Firefox out,just go to Mozilla site and load the new one , www.mozilla.org
I susgest you update to it as it has enhanced security to help prevent the new(ish) email scam that is doin the rounds , IE , the one that proports to come from say PayPal and ask's you to log on to a link that is in the mail. This link looks like www.paypal. com but is really www.ripyourmoneyoff.con !!
or the like !!

We have been using beta versions. I am running 0.9.1. This new 1.0 version is still pre-release if I remember right. Somewhere along the line they will come out with a final version. Check with the http://www.mozilla.org/ forums for more installation info and the latest news. I have been EXTREMELY pleased with the Firefox and Thunderbird. My version of Thunderbird works well with a couple of small bugs that I can live with. I figure they will get that ironed out.

I now have Mozilla Firefox and I dont like it .Its SSLLOOWWW and the only way you can down load anything is to a dick/cd,pluse many other things I just dont like.Im going back to IE and just keep it updated.I run a good firewall and anti virus protection.

GrayRanger, something is wrong with your internet settings, connection, and/or your installation. Mozilla is very fast and I can download to anywhere on my machine.

Yup i find that Firefox is just as fast as IE.
But even if it was a bit slower , id be happy to pay that price for the added safety it gives the user .
Firewalls and AV wont really protect you from email phishing or the like .
Oh and i just made up the addie the www.ripyourmoneyoff.con !
If there was such a site , i think it advisable to stay away !!
