OK so I have to ask. my other trucks never had such a huge gas tank what I have now. I noticed yesterday that the left side is about 1 inch lower then the right with a full tank of gas. To me that seems normal...BUT how does that affect the tire wear ? I mean I know I don't drive around on full all the time, but it would seem that it would wear the tire over time ? Just curious...

I have the the big tank (35.7 gal) also. I have never noticed any difference between full or empty. The tank is inside the frame rails so it shouldn't lean. You may want to have it checked out or you may have been on uneven ground.
I have the big tank too. Never noticed any difference full or empty. Full of fuel, it only adds about 300 pounds. My tank is fairly well centered between the rails - looks like a giant target for rocks. Glad to have the skid plate on it.
It might not be the actual frame of the truck lowering. I have seen and heard of several people who's beds were off kilter or out of alignment. It might be exacerbated by a full tank of gas as well. Basically the bed sits on the frame and perhaps it might need to be adjusted?
I have measured in two locations.. My garage (put a 10' level to make sure) and at my friends garage...to make sure. I will check. If its the bed just being off it should not make a differance as far as the tires go, since its not be pulled down as I though it was..
