Hey guys i have 93 Aerostar with about 80,000 miles running strong, however yesterday it started this really odd deal where when you depress the brake pedal the radio dims and the interior dash lights come on and the park lights come on this is really weird what should I do? is it harming anything?

I had a similar experience (dash lights came on when applying the brakes, front parking lamps came on when applying the brakes, etc). I was sure there was some terrible electrical problem. However, it turned out that I had a bad tail lamp. When I pulled out the bad bulb I noticed that both elements had fused together. When I replaced the bulb, the problem was solved. Apparently the fused elements create a ciruit and the current is fed back through the tail lamp bulb. You very well may have a $2.00 problem! Good luck.

Thanks for the help man, i really appreciate however i havent even checked it yet now that i think about its either that or another guy told me it very well could be my wiring harness.
