Jay Leno and cars

Anyone else aware that Jay Leno is a big car and cycle buff? He's got a nice collection of cars. He also talks about a car he recently bought (a Ford). Here's a URL to a recent segment on Jay at a car show. You will probably get a laugh when he talks about how he worked for Ford and what his job was . Jay and the drill motor, LOL. He never does admit that he's only joking about what he did either. Enjoy!

I like what Jay said in an interview, "In Hollywood many stars have lots of wives and one car. I have one wife and lots of cars". If I were given to envy, Jay would be the one.

The "car" he recently bought was the second GT (GT40) delivered to the public. I wonder what he paid for THAT......

leno wrote a book, Leading with my Chin, i think, and he tells a great story of helping his dad order a new car. well after dad left, leno changed the order and ordered a huge engine, etc. i think it was a FORD even. the whole book is full of funny stories.

Leno has a great monthly column in Popular Mechanics, it's almost worth the subscription price just for that. He's a genuine car guy.

Yeah and he's mad enough about AB2683 that he personally gave Assemblywoman Sally Lieber a piece of his mind! Jay really needs to talk to his buddy Arnold, go Jay go!

yea hes huge on cars and he likes the ones that you get to drive to none of the ones with all the fancy worthless gadgets on them.
some of the cars he has that i think are the coolest is the ford festiva shogun with nitrous, he has some rocket powered motorcycle that can go like 260 and of course the ultimate car; mclaren f1.

btw if you guys want to see a collection check out the sultan of brunei; they are mostly exotics though.

I heard either Jays or the first GT40 sold at one of the big auction companies for just over $500K!
