Ugh. Memories dude. My dad used our motorhome as a revenue machine. So, it was my job to clean the thing inside and out whenever the rig came back from a rental.
Those newer ones look pretty easy to clean though. Smooth sides, not the corrugated/ribbed fiberglass like the one we had.
You couldn't pay me to work on one of those things now, much less own one, not after the experience I have had with the. Vans don't like me , Chevies don't do what they are told, and RV's have low ground clearance. Combine the three, and you have a fun weekend of removing an exhaust manifold on a fairly new chebby G-30 RV to fix a trio of broken collector studs.
As soon as the escrow company releases funds to my bank account today, i will be picking up my first RV. a 1990 Class C with an E350 front clip and a 460. it has dual bunk beds in the back and will sleep 10! We do foster care and we were looking for this model to be able to take the foster children camping for the experience. (i know, i know, it's not really camping to some, but i severed my time in tents.)
I have a 77 Ford 4 star 22foot with a 460. I use it for towing the horse trailer and going to shows and stuff with the horses. So far, been a real neat little rig. (and i bought it off e-bay! )
