Hey I have an '83 F-150 4x4 with a 3 inch body. I just bought it and it only has 28" tires on it. I would like to have at least 33s, do you think 35s will fit? And what brand should I get. Im not too experienced with this seeing how I turned 16 on the 7th. thanks for any help.
32's will definately fit, 33's probably will too, but I doubt 35's would. I would suggest a regear with 35's anyways. If I were you, I'd go with 32x11.50 Kumho Venture MT's or Firestone Destination MT's. It would look even sweeter if you could find a tire that comes in 32x12.50
I just got rid of my '89 Bronco (Full size) that had a 2" suspension lift and 33x12.5s with tons of room. I did rub a little turning to the locks, but it wasn't bad.
you can fit 35's no problem with a 3 inch body lift. I have 35" bogger on my 81 mudder and once i cut out the body lines (picture in gallery) and the tires clear other than they hit the leafs cause the 16.5x12 wheels have to much backspace.
