460 swap headers? - don't flame read first
Hello all, I have a 1969 F100 with a 460/ C6 swapped in. I have the set of heddmans made for 73-79 2wd and they dont fit even with modification to the tubes and everything. My truck actually has a 460 out of a '72 thunderbird, and I have powersteering. The power steering box is in the way also. Does anyone know if the L&L headers will be any different for my situation. I would think they would fit a lot better than the heddmans because they are made to fit powersteering. but it almost seems like the collector ends up right in front of the tranny crossmember. I am really confused, If anyone knows anything please help!

Morgan, Let's do a basics thing here. The chassis are the same from 65 to 79 from the rear cab mount forward. Ford offered the 460 engine in the late 70s in pickups. The late 70s would be 99% power steering installed.
You have a 69 with a 460 and power steering. The headers should fit. Maybe you have the wrong headers.
