Can't beleve it happend! I'm changing the shocks on my E350 and the drivers side lower mount broke! It didn't even look rusty and did'nt take that much effert to break it. My question is how is the stud in the strut arm? Is it pressed in or threaded in? thanks for any help
I'm pretty sure they're pressed in. When I broke one on my X, I had to cut the stud flush, drill out what was left and then used a grade 8 bolt of the appropriate size to fix it.
On my van I think I can just knock it out if it's pressed in I called the dealer and the only way you can get the mount is if you buy the radius arm . I bought some grade 8 bolts today. Thanks for the tip.
