Mines stock right now. Gonna go get some baseline times next weekend. I would love to go in the same direction as the KING- Johnny Lightning. Did ya see his 9.88 time in the 1/4 mile? What ever hes got- thats what I need. So the first thing to buy is gonna be HIS JLP true froced air intake. Just doign that is gonna be a big improvement on my gas mileage and HP. I'm new to this though and taking it slow. I would like to make wise decisions on how i spend my money on this truck. My biggest worries of them all is TIRES. Any info on tires will help alot.

Congrats, nice to hear of another sonic blue 04. I just got my 04 lightning July 29, (sonic blue as well), i still cant believe I actualy have one. Now that the supercharger is broke in its amazing, just be carefull, unlike my ranger you can not drive a lightning by feel. I've caught myself doing 20+ better than I thought. You get used to it thought, use cruise whenever possible (especialy here in Wichita) So far i havent had any trouble of the "Goat trucks" even the SRT-10, just little 4 door Honda's loaded up with highschoolers wanting a run. I'm also being carefull with the tires, from what I've heard from other Lightning owners who have tried both the Nitos and the Goodyear's, the Goodyear's are by far the best tire for the truck. The best price I've found is about $211 a tire. Hopfully in the winter the price will drop a bit more.
