My son and I have 99 v10 super dutys , here is the problem , when hooked to trailers the left turn and brake light will not work, but when the same trailers hooked to chevys or dodges they work fine . Did ford have a different wiriing setup ? Fred
A poor ground wire casusing ground to be the trailer tongue and high resistance causes the light circuit to draw too many amps for the system blowing the fuse. And of course everything 99f350sd said.

Just the opposite High resistance will cause the lights to be dim. Can't blow a fuse that way...The only way to blow a fuse is low resistance such as a short.
