My '05 Lariat SCREW 4x4 will be here in abt 3 weeks (yippeee!) and I'm having the Daystar leveling kit installed right away.
I know I need to have it aligned afterwards, but here's my question...
I'm also having new wheels (Eagle 178 18x9) and tires (Nitto 325/60/18) put on, maybe within a week of the leveling kit. Should I wait to have it aligned until after the new shoes go on? Or would it matter at all?
I know I shouldn't drive too far without the alignment - just wondering if the new wheels/tires would throw off any alignment that was done.
Your new shoes should not change the alignment at all. Even though you're going a lot bigger, the tires/wheels will only change the entire truck's height, not the suspensions geometry. However, since you're going to be doing it all in the same time-frame, it might be better to align it all after it's in it's final driving condition, just to make it "perfect". Good luck and congrats on the new purchase!

Can someone tell me if there is any negative wear and tear out of the levelling kit. I would seriously like to level my truck off but I am afraid that I am going to screw my brand new truck up. Also can anyone tell me if this does anything to the factory warranty?
You are on the right track, if the wear is due to the lift the warranty will not cover it. I have had mine for 8,000 miles and no sign of any problems.
