Help locating parts

Good Day,

I've made the calls to the local wreckers in the area and it appears that trucks of my vintage are generally worth more as scrap steel then parts vehicles. I'm having an impossible time locating a couple of parts.

I'm located outside Windsor and would appreciate any feed back on known wreckers who carry (specialize) in older trucks ? The truck in question is an 82, and I was looking for a four barrel intake for a 351W and a C6 kickdown rod ?

I know ebay has the parts I'm looking for, but I haven't been able to locate the parts in Canada, I can only imagine with exchange and shipping these bargains wouldn't be so great.

Actually, it may not be as bad as you think. If the person shipping the parts specifies that it is for a vehicle that is more than 25 years old there is no duty. The US dollar right now is pretty weak compared to a year ago and sometimes they don't make you pay PST and GST at the bridge. Depends on the value and the mood of customs at the time. (What a great system . Are you located close to the border?
