I'd like to make some CD's to carry in my truck. I've never done this and am looking for some on-line sources with a large selection to download (legally). Any suggestions? Thanks.

There's always RealRaphsody, and I believe for a limited time, their songs are 49 cents each.
there is also www.emusic.com which for 10 dollars a month allows you to download 40 songs. During emusics free trial period you get 50 free songs just for signing up.
http://www.Napster.com is legal these days at .99 per song. You can buy Napster cards for $15 or $25 at various retailers - Best Buy, Target etc - if you don't like using a credit card online.

Free, yes. Legal, not really. LimeWire is another peer to peer thing like Kazaa except it does not have all of the spyware and adware. However, downloading music without paying for it is against copyright laws, unless of course, the artist puts it on the web not-for-profit.

I didnt know that. I figured that since its so wide spread that surely the authorities and bands know about it and if it were illegal something would be done to put it down.
