1992 aerostar

I cannot get van out of park inless i by passbrake pedal switch by turning on key first than putting it in neutral any help for me????

You might want to search through recent postings. There were two that I read earlier today that said they had the same problem, that it is common on these trucks, and that it took 3 or 4 hours to replace a part in the steering column, I think.... in any case, there was a firly simple, not too expensive fix.

Thanx for the info i have prolblem fixed it was my trailer wires at the reciever hitch shorting out

not sure how lights were wired i took it to a trailer place to get it done i cut the wires that were burnt and taped them

It wasn't wired using the stock trailer wiring, then. The stock trailer wiring isolates the front wiring from the rear wiring very effectively!

I had the same problem. It was a burned brake fuse. There are two of them and one controls the device that don´t let you shift unless you press the brake pedal. Just replace the burned fuse and that's all.
