There is a company near York Pennsylvania, that all they do is build 4X4 conversion vans. I've seen a 1 ton ambulance they built for around here once, and it had a Dana 60 in the front- with a custom built 4 link front suspention like a newer Jeep would use. They've been doing it for over 30 years. Maybey they could help steer you in the right direction or give you a pointer or two, worth a shot. This is there website Quigley Motor Company, Inc.

I just read a lil bit on there site, and they even have a diagram and tell a little bit what they do to the vans. Says they've been doing 4x4 vans since 1974. Good luck

ummm I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that to that body style van... Wait i got one that i just converted........ did a write up over on FSB. just go over ther and search for 74 TTB van. the steering box was the hardest thing to figure out.

Or just Yahoo search 74 TTB van
