Repairing Bed Floor

I've got an 84 F150. In the floor of the bed, I've got a few rust holes. What is the best way to repair them? I am able to weld a some.

I'd say cut the rust out and weld in a patch panel. Alot of places sell patch panels for the bed floor. I plan on doing the same thing to the bed floor on 82 F100. If you cut and weld in some new pieces, make sure you have nothing under there that could get cut or catch fire. Make sure the gas tank is out of there. Fred
