Tried this in the 87-96 forum. Maybe this is the right place to ask?
94 F-350. The back left door, bottom hinge, is missing the bottom bushing. After some searching here, it looks like I will have to chisel off one end of the pin to get it out. When you buy the replacement, what do you get? Some kind of bolt and nut setup along with the two bushings?
Alright. Didn't get any info from my original post. Can anyone help me now? Got the pin out. Do I have to get someone to press the bushings into the hinge?
I'd assume you got this fixed by now but Napa should have the hinge pin, bushings and clip in a kit for about $5. Grind the head of the old pin, drop it out, drive the bushings out (I used light brazing heat quickly, they got soft and dropped right out, but I didn't care about the paint on that truck) and just drop the new hardware in. It should go right in by hand.
