I just installed a 4" lift in the front of my 1979 Bronco 4x4 trailerspecial,400m/C6/NP203.I only got the front done, and with the front I used Superlift 4" coil's,Superlift shock's,track arm drop bracket,7*off set C-bushing's,radius arm bushing's,and track arm bushing's all being poly from JBG,and when i went for a test ride I now have a vibration coming from the rear, and I didn't lift the rear yet.I was getting ready to do a shackel flip in the rear but this vibration has me worried!!I know I will have to add to my driveshaft's but why would I be getting the vib. from the rear when I haven't done nothing back their yet.??????????Should I go ahead, and lift the rear to match the front, and then deal with the vib.'s or should I fix the rear vibration 1st,and then lift.Just has me worried couse I haven't done nothing to the rear to couse the vibration. And their wasn't a vibration back their befor I started all this.
Lift it first. With only one end lifted, it will change your angle of the driveshaft. This is prolly what is causing the vibration to begin with since you have now changed the pressure angle on the ujoints.
Even with the front end 100% unlocked?? I will go ahead, and start the shackel flip, and then If it persit's I will add to the drive shaft's.The front does look sweet, and worked out with no hassle's.
Turn's out one of my MILE MARKER lock out kit's failed me.The right shaft was still locked couse the lockout wasn't doing it's job.I was cruising 65-70mph in 4wdh.Woop's.
it has the NP203 FT T case so if the hub.'s lock in it tell's the T-case to ingage.i had to take out the 4 spider gear's behind the rear driveshaft, and install theis 4 half looking gear's.Weird how it work's but work's real good.My shifter **** say's 2h 2lock-N-4H 4Lock.
