Need help, Washer pump not operating.

I have a 99 F250 CC with the v-10. My front windshield washer is not working. I didn't want to start tearing apart things until I posted. Did anyone else have this problem? Is it usually the pump or the multi-function switch? It appears the pump is under the fluid reservoir. Do I actually need to pull the battery and reservoir to test voltage to the pump? Any ideas or fixes?

Are you sure your "squirt lines" aren't plugged?

Ithink you can loosen the front inner fenderwell and get to it.
you looked at fuses 54 and 33

Yeah. I blew through the lines and they were clear, fuses are good. When I push in the multi-switch to activate the washers I expect to hear at least a click or a whine but hear nothing.

OK, got in the truck today and guess what, they are working again. This might be worse than them not working at all. Diagnosing intermittent troubles are a pain in the a**.

I would guess the pump is probably going out. If it is it will quit again.

Where's the ground for the pump motor??? I had one grounded to the chassis via the resevoir mount & that screw was loose.. Pump only worked intermittantly until tightened..
