Flushing coolant system
Would it be better to have my coolant flushed by a shop or do it myself.Also what about transmission fluid.Any ideas

I'd let a shop do the coolant flush. You can always find someone running a special on flushing the radiator. I usually find one that has a special, call them up and ask if its okay to bring an extra gallon of fluid. So far everyone has been cool with that because they normally only include one gallon and charge 2-3 times auto parts store costs for the extra gallon. I just ask them if they have a preference on brand and if not, then I bring Prestone.
I do my own trans fluid/filter changes though. Takes about 2 hours to do the whole thing including torque convertor but it saves a ton of cash.

Speaking of coolant, what should this look like? Mine is cloudy with what seems to be some thicker substance in it. Dealer says it is normal, but sure does not look normal. I would have thought it was a full fluid liquid, not something that looks gummy.
