If you hold the brakes just enough so the front are locked but you can get the back spinning, and work the gas/brake pedals properly, you can get almost any vehicle with an automatic tranny to smoke the tires like a GTO.
I remember power braking a 1981 Toyota Corolla in front of a bar that had kicked me out (I was a young rebel at the time) anyway I smoked the whole bar out through an open door and that was with a 50 series tire on the back of the car! It would not even come close to doing a burnout normally.
whats funny here is swampers dont last that long with just normal everyday use let alone getting spun on pavement. those are spendy tires to be driving that way. save that kinda wheel spin for the mud its more fun really especially when someone is behind ya

when you make a left turn across a road or somethin get about midway out cut the tire to the left and the mash the pedal to the floor you'll get a real loud squeal somefis tailin and a few heads turned.
you gotta watch out with power braking in a older bronc cuz when youlay on the gas the vacum decreses and you lose a lil boost to your brakes. if ya get on it to hard to quick at an intersection or somethin you might just push out into traffic.
oh well your tires.im not payin for new tires again for a while to pricey.
I got a 1990 351W and only way it will spin is when you shift it in 4 low without locking the hubs. It also spins a little around corners but thats it. It wont even peel out in gravel! I got 39 1/2 inch tires. Mikey thompsons baja belteds. But, like you gusy said they arent made for it, they were made to go over things!

No doubt! And I have never power braked my Bronc - I did not buy it for that and tires are too costly.
My Bronc keeps me from getting tickets. It won't burn out, can hardly get to speeding ticket speeds in between traffic lights, and with a speed limit of 75 on the Interstate here I am lucky to be cruising with the flow of traffic in the left lane, mush less speeding!
