i changed my master cylinder today, and now i have no brake lights.when i disconected the wires to the pressure switch, like the true genius tht i am,i tied to stick one of the wires on the throttle.it gave a small spark and blew a fuse.i`ve replaced the fuse, and now have tail ligts, but no brake lights.what else could it be?
Try hooking the two wires together ..if brake lights work it could be in the switch. I'd have to check my wiring diagrams, but, I think the brake lights also go through the T/S switch before going to light socet. This might then be a T/S switch problem.
thanks glr,
i hooked them together, and the lights came on.i cleaned inside the boots, and the posts, and that solved my problem.bad connection.thanks for the suggestion.i wanted to hook them together in the first place, but i was afraid it would short something out.
