Anyone have any experiance with this one? It also has a P0301B which is the #1 cylinder not firing. Would that cause the OBDII not to complete the test(P1000)? Thanks.
P1000 means that the veh has not been driven enough drive cycles or trips to complete the OBDII requirements. Need to get a copy of the seq. from Ford dealer and drive it
Thanks ProFord. I have been asking the dealer. They were stumped by the same question. They assumed that it meant the ODBII scanner wasn't done testing the computer.
You will get this code anytime you remove power to the computer. It will erase itself only after the computer runs all its selftests and they pass. If a problem occures (such as po301) before the selftest completes it will discontiue testing until problem is fixed.
