diagnostic code

does anyone know what dtc pffff & p1000 are?

P1000 means the computer is not done doing its self check since last time the battery was disconnected, or DTC were cleared. Sorry don't know about the Pffff code.

Did you install a tuner? Usually what happens is that the PCM has not completed the self check. So what you need to do...is run your SD for at least 50 or 60 miles. Giving it the time to "re-learn" the way you drive. Of course...first clear the code.

pffff is a sound I make every morning before I get out of bed. (Worse if I eat chili the night before... then it's more like PFFFF )

Funny that your truck's computer would do it. Hopefully it ain't "crappin'" out on you! Hahahahaha...oh I kill myself...
