Rusted Rear Bumper
Has anyone else experienced this?
Crawled under the truck today to "look around" and was suprised to find rust starting on the inside of the rear bumper.
Looks like I will be giving the dealership a call unless this is normal wear and tear.

Is this the only rust you have found? How many miles are on this vehicle? Do you live near salt water, or a part of the country that uses some nasty road chemicals in the winter? What kind of rusting are we talking about? Is it just minor flash rusting, or deep, cancerous rust?

This is the only rust I found underneath. It is the inside of the back bumper. Do not live near nor drove near salt water. The truck was bought the first week of Oct 03. Only drove it in the snow a couple of times.
The rust runs across the entire rear bumper (only visable from underneath looking to the inside of the bumper. Only on the surface not cancerous (yet).
You can see the press markings when the metal went thru the press when the bumper was made. Strange that the rust is in the upper portion of the bumper at the inside curve. The rest of the bumper is clean.
