Radio Switch

i have a 95 xlt, the radio switch is one of the push on,push off /volume ****.either way, with switch on or off the radio stays on & wont shut off.any body ever had to fix this before? its a stock am/fm casette stereo. thanks

never had that problem, but then again, I've never had a head unit longer than the ride home from the dealership.
