Weird thing. Last night put the F-150 to bed.. problemless.
Woke this morning and my headlights won't come on. Interior works fine so I know its not the fuse and if I put the high beams on them come alive.
I know that when lights go they sometimes go together but they were fine last night but this morning they are both gone.
One problem I have been having is the highbeam switch on the floor. It sticks. To get the high beams off I have to keep tapping my foot on it and after a minute or two it pops and goes back down.
Questions:
Can the high beam switch be the cause? If I unplug it ( giving me no highbeams) will the regular lights still work.
Is there anywhere I can get a new floor switch other than a junk yard. I looked on the web and found nothing.
Sounds like you've already found the problem. Pretty sure you wouldn't have any light with the dimmer switch unplugged. Any parts store should carry that switch.
