Read several posts regarding lowbeams not working in standard position, but will in high-beam. First, here is my exact issue:
98 Ford F-150 (4x) 130,000 mi.
Low-beams do not work in standard position, but will in high-beam (note in high-beam I will not actually get high-beam, but will get low).
High-beam position will not stay, I have to hold it in place, otherwise it will go back to standard (and then no lights).
All other functions (turn signal, wipers, etc.) working fine.
Can anyone confirm this is a faulty MF switch? I want to try this myself (don't want to spend $100 for an electrical test if not needed), but want to make sure I have the correct issue.
***Please Read Below***
One thing I haven't seen yet is a step-by-step on how to replace the MF. Please note I am not experienced with car maintenance and am hoping for exact instructions.
