Anyone know of a kit or company that converts auto AC's to all electric (12VDC)?
I'm thinking that all this would take would be an aux pusher fan for the condenser, and a motor for the compresser (or a hermetrically sealed compresser replacement).
Will be doing some camping in my E-350, and often use it at job sites as an office. If I have power, I could run the AC. Might could even use it as a heat pump if these kits are avalable.
Don't think going down the road should be a problem, as I have the big alt and dual bats. When parked, I can use a DC power supply/charger.
Seems doable, but my search has turned up nada.
A roof top unit is not an option, as the rear AC and lights run down the entire length of the ceiling.
