My glow plugs stopped cycling for more than about two seconds. It now starts hard in the morning, but no other time. I have a 1994 IDI turbo. What should I be looking at?

Hi,
this is typical if one or more is burnt out. Check with an ohmmeter or a test lamp; take the cables off them and measure between the tip and ground, they should be around 1 ohm. A burnt out plug does not lead current at all.
