Some people put it in the pan, others put it in the test port, and still others put it on the fluid output line from the trans to the cooler. Ask any 3 people and you'll probably get 3 different answers as to which is the best way...

SoCals right, I've used both the test port and the output line from the cooler. I've also seen mention of a sensor installed both before and after the cooler with a dash mounted switch to toggle between the two. This is for those that want even more stuff to fiddle with, humm, maybe...
